Square, Product Designer | December 2022 - Present

  • Owned and designed Catalog Management features across seller segments of all sizes which shaped how millions of sellers and their buyers shopped on a daily basis.

  • Design DRI for Catalog Mobile, where I delivered responsive interfaces that scale to all mobile devices, including Square's new proprietary hardware device, Square Handheld.

  • Secured a $100M opportunity by delivering a top seller request for enhanced menu customization features, which was featured in the inaugural "Product Releases" event in Spring 2025. I also created and delivered a white-label presentation to prevent a $17M seller from churning while the feature was in development.

  • Integrated AI tooling into design workflows — rapid prototyping with v0, extracting themes from seller feedback at scale, and querying live seller data through Block's agentic AI to ground design decisions in real usage patterns.

  • Worked closely with cross-functional partners to shape the annual product roadmaps for Square’s catalog platform, scoped complex multi-team initiatives and prioritized against business objectives.

  • Partnered with engineering to identify and understand technical architecture constraints and used those to inform design and scope, minimizing cross-team dependencies and speeding up delivery of menu customizations by 6 months.

  • Curated vision presentations for senior leadership that used storytelling to translate complex platform problems into clear narratives that drove alignment and secured investment in large-scale improvements.

  • Contributed new filtering patterns to Square’s design system, which were leveraged by key teams including the inventory and reporting teams.

Recharge Payments, Senior Product Designer | May 2021 - December 2022

  • Owned product design for a subscription management platform serving e-commerce businesses of all sizes, from plug-and-play Shopify integrations to developer-facing API-first solutions.

  • Operated as one of two designers supporting a 200+ member product and engineering organization, embedding directly into teams to lead design across concurrent initiatives.

  • Led design for a new paid memberships product line, expanding the platform beyond subscriptions to unlock critical new business verticals for the company.

  • Drove end-to-end design of a reimagined home dashboard as from research through post-launch iteration, leveraging user research to influence the project’s scope and direction.

  • Led design for supporting multiple payment methods in the customer-facing portal, untangling complex data structures across multiple payment processors to deliver a top-requested merchant feature.

  • Redesigned the application’s visual language following a company rebrand by overhauling color, typography, illustration style, and UI patterns across the product.

  • Established Recharge's first design system from the ground up - defining components, usage guidelines, and development and adoption in partnership with engineering and design stakeholders.

  • Served as the dedicated designer for the revenue operations team and designed a market research tool that reduced research time by 33% in its first iteration.

  • Conducted an information architecture audit across the product that evaluated existing naming conventions and defined a new taxonomy to improve navigation and discoverability.
